Annette Funicello was an American performer and a singer from the United States. Her most famous role was for her role as one of the first "Mouseketeers" in the show 'Mickey Mouse Club.' In her teens Annette began singing and became a household name for her hit songs, 'TallPaul' and Pineapple Princess'. Annette, who was born and was raised by Italian immigrants living in Utica as a child, is a very introverted person. As she wished to have a successful career in entertainment, Annette began acting and dancing. In the mid-late 1950s, she was famous as a character in a variety of "Disneysketches. Later in her life, Annette shredded her 'Disney persona and performed in numerous adult parts. The most recognizable role she played was as the pioneer in the genre of beach parties. The films she appeared in included 'Pajama Party', 'How to Stuff a Wild Bikini', and 'Beach Party'. She also produced music albums. Annette had been diagnosed with multiples sclerosis since 1992.
