Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded, mostly in the horror and martial arts genres. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action flicks with a morbid fascination. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and, after garnering some recognition in the forums (under her old handle Obscurus Lupa) she became a member of the Channel Awesome family. She remained on the site until mid-2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The show reviews horrible film that is aimed at kids, RiffTrax and live shows. It also occasionally features adult humor. She began reviewing movies in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining fame through the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the group of reviewers on Channel Awesome. Her appearances have included a variety in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She was a former member of the Channel Awesome family alongside Doug Walker and was often seen on the show Nostalgia Critic.
