Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began when she was 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd built on this victory and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen to defeat her in a unanimous decision, putting an ominous mark on her record in her amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss by defeating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen made her professional debut in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. The InvictaFC11 fight was her very first professional bout. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. Invicta Combat Championships 16, Aspen won the following match against Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. The third time she fought on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her loss was a unanimous one.
