Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. He discovered his love for acting in his early days at school and then pursued acting studies in the University of Colorado at Boulder. The characters he has played on television are gaining him lots of recognition. This is not surprising since the actor has managed to grab people's attention with his characters on both sides of the law. His initial project was a TV serial however, he was later a detective for the NYPD. His performances on small screens are rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. He is known for his blue-piercing eyes, which have turned into a signature and helped in portraying tough characters with a sense of humor. In 2006, he appeared on People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
