LeBron Raymone James Sr., born December 30, 1984 is an American professional basket ball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). He is known as King James and is considered to be one of the greatest basketball players of all time. James is the winner of the distinction of winning four NBA titles. He has four NBA MVPs. Four NBA Finals MVPs. Three All-Star MVPs. and two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the most amount of points scored during the post-season. He is second in total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. In total, he participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most in history. This includes eight straight between 2011 and 2018. James was selected to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team for 2021. James became the first NBA player with 10,000 points, rebound and assist in 2022. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. Media across the country portrayed James as a future NBA star. In 2003 it was the time that Cleveland Cavaliers took him first in the NBA draft as a pro-to-prep. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players by winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James did not win an award in Cleveland and left the city with the status of an "free agent" in the year 2010. The decision was announced during the television special The Decision.
