LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hypnotized by media. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly was one of the league's best players, and won the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of with the Miami Heat this was announced on television in the program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
