LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James is widely regarded as one of basketball's greatest players. He is often compared with Michael Jordan when discussing the most well-known basketball player. James has been awarded four NBA championships and four NBA MVP award Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has earned the second most career goals and seventh-highest assists. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times. This is a record for the NBA that he's been an NBA All-Star for 18 years. In total, he has been a part of 10 NBA Finals, the third-most ever. The streak spans eight consecutive years from 2011 to 2018. In 2021 James was chosen to join make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player to ever in NBA history to rack up 10,000 or more career points rebounds and assists. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School near his hometown of Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hypnotized by media. The Cleveland Cavaliers selected him with the top pick in the NBA draft in 2003. In 2004 he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly was one of the league's best players, and won the NBA MVP in both the years 2009 and 2010. He was unable to secure a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent in order to become a member of with the Miami Heat this was announced on television in the program The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
